The Kennels

We have a variety of accommodation for dogs, allowing us to house our guests in difference spaces according to their needs. All the kennels are individually heated.

Dogs are individually walked four times a day. Walks are all off the lead in four secure grass paddocks, allowing our guests to run around and play ball games.

Exercise

Dogs are exercised off the lead, four times a day. We have four secure grass paddocks to choose from, with different enrichment structures in each paddock, adding to your dog’s entertainment throughout their stay.

Meals

We serve meals according to your dog’s normal routine. Usual feeding times are around 8.30am and 5.30pm. We offer a selection of dry kibble, tinned foods and treats. You are more than welcome to provide your regular dog food and/or treats to maintain your dog’s normal diet.

Personalised care

We understand that some dogs may require special care during their stay, please discuss your dog’s needs when making the booking, for example, known allergies.

Viewings and Taster Sessions

New customers are required to visit the kennels, to see the facilities and discuss your dog’s needs. We encourage you to bring your dog along to these viewings for a chance to meet us. Please call to book a viewing appointment. If your dog has never been in kennels before or boarded with us, we would require that your dog has a free taster session so we can ensure that your dog settles and is happy staying with us.

Neil and Sarah are the best and the care they give my Romanian rescue is second to none. Arrival and collection is always met with laughter and I have 100% confidence that my baby boy will be looked after as one of the family. Highly recommended and cannot praise the quality of care given highly enough.

Kestrel are just perfect and we feel our dog is safely in their hands when we go away, they have a lovely way about them and are very attentive, Alfie our border terrier loves going there and is always very well looked after.

The safety and happiness of our dogs is paramount and Sarah and Neil more than fulfil both of these requirements. Our dogs are always so excited to get into the kennels when we arrive, which makes us feel very contented when leaving them. We cannot recommend Kestrel highly enough.

Neil and Sarah are both very caring and knowledgeable about dogs and are experts in their needs. If you are looking for a clean, professional, warm (and yes, the dogs can have heating if needed) and caring kennel, set in loads of open space for your pooch, we can’t recommend and Kestrel Kennels highly enough. We used Kestrel with our old dog and we were delighted with the gentle caring way they looked after him. We now have an energetic puppy and we have been impressed with the way they coped with a very boisterous dog. He simply loves going there.

I can 100% recommend Kestrels. Neil and Sarah understand the individual needs of all dogs, and our dog literally runs up to Reception at the beginning of every stay which is a very good sign.
