General Terms and Conditions

By leaving your dog to board with us, you are agreeing our Terms and Conditions.

Payment

Payment is due on collection by cash or card. Dogs picked up in the morning session do not pay for that day.

Health and safety of the dog

Please disclose all known medical, health and behavioural issues about your dog including any allergies. If your dog’s health causes any concern or there are any signs of aggressive behaviour, the kennel management reserve the right to refuse their admission.

In the unlikely event that your dog becomes ill during their stay, we reserve the right to consult/attend a veterinary practice. Efforts will be made to contact you the owner and/or your alternative emergency contact person if your dog requires veterinary treatment. In the event that this contact has not been successful, we reserve the right to decide on appropriate treatment guided by veterinary advice. Owners must accept full responsibility for payment of any veterinary fees incurred. There may be a charge to cover additional costs e.g. transport.

Vaccinations

All dogs must be up to date with vaccinations and booster injections.

Dogs must be inoculated against distemper, hepatitis and parvovirus (DHP vaccination given 3-yearly) and leptospirosis (L4 vaccination given yearly). Other vaccinations are optional.

We DO NOT require dogs to be vaccinated against Kennel Cough. This is at the owner’s discretion, but it is advisable for young or elderly dogs. If the Kennel Cough nasal vaccination has been administered there has to be a 14-day gap prior to boarding. If less than 14 days has passed, boarding will be refused.

We need to see an up-to-date vaccination certificate + microchip number for each dog on arrival. Please ensure that dogs are up to date with all worming and flea treatments.

Failure to collect

Kennel management reserves the right to re-home any animal not collected within 15 days of the stated departure dates unless circumstances have changed and further arrangements have been agreed.

Privacy policy

This pertains to any personal data collected from you during the course of visiting our website, collected from you during the course of enquiries, making a booking or completing a booking form at the time of dropping off your dogs with us.

We are committed to safeguarding and respecting your privacy and personal details. Personal information is recorded on a data base which is not connected to the internet. Details are also recorded manually. Your details will not be disclosed to a third party, unless required to obtain veterinary treatment for your dog.

Any information submitted to us via the internet cannot be guaranteed as being totally secure, therefore sending such information is entirely at your own risk.
